My husband and I absolutely love Cyprus! It is our favorite restaurant and especially love Saturday's cuisine. We live 20 miles south of Highlands and are glad we are close enough to visit often! The atmosphere is wonderful and the cuisine is the freshest around. A wonderful experience!

We spent four days in Highlands in July 2009 as guests at Fire Mountain Inn. We ate at Cypress three evenings in a row! We never tried any place else and on our next return trip to Highlands, we plan to eat at Cypress every night as well! The vast menu specials change, the staff is incredible, the food is fantastic- presentation, taste and uniqueness! The lavender ice cream on lemon shortbread is something you will crave after trying! This place is a real gem- the owners really do know how to create a wonderful dining experience. The prices are excellent- the quality and quantity of food is perfect. We dressed very casually and were treated like royalty- such a wonderful place- go and enjoy yourself!Looking forward to spending the new year with the Cyprus crew!

Came over to Highlands for a few days and had what is the best meal i have ever had, and thats not a lie. Thai night will be my favorite night at Cyprus forever. Cant wait until I get back.

If you haven't tried Cyprus yet, you have been missing a jewel of a restaurant - the flavors mingle in each dish as if they were chosen just for you - no matter what you order. the service will make you feel like you've been a regular since they opened. the music is groovy - even if it doesn't always meld with the actual international cuisine of the evening. the live music is always funky. the chef/owner, Nicholas, and all his elves, strive to perfect what is already near perfection - so you'll have to try it to see what i mean. that's not all but that's all that's fit to print

Fantastic place and OPEN LATE! We came up on a Friday night and EVERYTHING was closed. Cyprus took great care of us and what a wonderfull meal! I would highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone in the area.

Great food and lots of fun! This is THE Restaurant in Highlands and it offers a full bar and live music on the weekends! Cyprus is also open late, which is very rare in Highlands, NC!

Great Ambiance: Great for a lively dinner, international cuisine. During the season there is a great variety of live music on Friday nights which helps give the international students and co-workers a nice environment to get to know eachother. Staff is lively and wonderful and food is great.
